This video is made more to give up the idea of ​​buying a Sigma 135 mm 1.8 and to focus more on the very expensive lenses released by Sony. I recently bought the Seemo 4k and, in my opinion, it is absolute rubbish when paired with the Canon C70. Not only it does not support full DCI 4K, but even the UHD signal comes full of noise and weird distortions. This does not happen when connecting the C70 to other monitors (like the Shinobi), which display the image correctly. The HD image coming out of the Seemo 4K is the same quality that you get from similar Accsoon devices that operates by wi-fi (like cineeyes). This means that the HD image is decent, but barely. When applying a LUT the image becomes horrible, full of banding and color artefacts. I would never use this on a job, unless I want to have to waste time explaining to a client that what they are seeing is not an accurate image.

As this Tamron is my #1 prime lens on an A7R III, I'll add some experierences to yours findings. 1) The optical quality of this lens is superb. It is only 2.8, yes, but it is sharp from to edge right at 2.8. Contrast is excellent, just as the colours are. However, I have a feeling that Tamron lenses tend to give a bit more yellowish colours, whereas Sony tends more towards blue. Well, okay, just tweak your WB, that's not a valid aspect for me if there are people who manipulate the hell out of their images. If you don't do 400% zooms, I don't see any difference in IQ to the G-Master, to be honest. Taking into account that this Tamron costs about 180-200€, that's a very strong argument. 2) The special feature of this lens has not been very prominent in your video: It is the most versatile 35mm lens for Sony E because you can get as close as 14 cm to your subject, making it ideal for capturing fine detail in a bigger reproduction ratio. Some might call it "pseudo macro", but it is really a very useful feature. 3) The lens has a weak spot and that is its AF. For photos, AF is completely fine. In video mode, however, it tends to readjust every now and then and it won't just stick to the focus point, resulting in noticeable breathing and some kind of a restless image. It is absolutely necessary to use MF for video to get what you want. However, using MF is tricky, too. Because of its close-up focusing abilities, the focus motor has to go quite some way and the ring isn't set to 180 or 360 degree, but instead to 2360 or something like that, meaning you can turn it around 7 times, depending on the speed of your rotation. Unfortunately, you can't set linear/non-linear focusing via Tamron's app as you can do with the 28-75 G2, for example. 4) Lens hood design for this lens has to be given some kind of award. That's smart engineering: adding almost no size to the lens itself. Summing this up: This lens is not for everybody. It is brilliant in the way it is thought to be used, but it is not one of these super-comfortable, modern lenses with silent and super fast, super reliable AF in every situation. Still, there is a lot to like about it - if you value what you get. I like to shoot with it, even though sometimes the clicking AF makes me angry :D Most of my photos have been taken with it and I can't find any reason to dislike them if it's not for my own choices at framing.

I used to have an XH2S as well but I felt like it was overkill for my uses. Looking for something smaller than the XS20 and I think the XE line hits that spot.

What do you think between the c200 and the c70? How good is the actual image between the two. I hate to buy a c70, when a c200 would have produced basically the same image, AF and RAW.

Insightful video. I am a "reborn" photographer enthusiast and I am planning to retire in about 5 years. Thinking of becoming a semi-pro photographer to supplement my retirement income, but more importantly because I love it. Obviously I don't have the training or experience as others, but would like to start building my portfolio. Any thoughts on how to start building it and taking the next steps? I am a big fan of travel and architecture photography.

To give you a few more stops in the highlights, try the dr400 extended dynamic range mode. The dr400 mode, in short, distributes the exposure more evenly thru the exposure of the images, removing the necessity of underexposing for highlights. It does this by requiring you to shoot at iso 640 or higher. This allows the camera to underexpose the hi lights of an image while boosting the mid tones and shadows…. basically what you eventually do in post if you underexposed your images. It does all of these calculations prior to the analog to digital conversion, so it works in RAW! 5:21 Using fuji’s own X Raw Converter helps in switching to tweaking profiles. It’s slow but basically an interface to the actual camera conversion setting (you have to tether the camera)

What was your ISO range during this shoot? Looking to get into the 300c’s but currently use Godox AD600pro’s so ISO stays at 100-125.

Whatever you call it , you shouldn't cover both boobies . Should leave one boob open or uncovered at any given time , either one . No need to show them directly or openly on purpose , but let one be on its own . Any one at a time ....casually , not obviously . Like a naughty kid rebelling in the background . You know what I mean . This covering both Avery time looks stupid . Such photography should be taking it in a stride like . Different positions which look casual and natural .

I've owned two of them. The first was sold to get an XE4, which I sold to get an XT4. I often do projects where I need a B cam for video under controlled though not studio conditions, and the XE3/XE4 do well at this. I got another XE3, b/c the XE4's market price (used) is so high. My issues are that the EVF is small and there's no eyecup, that the XE3 is prone to flicker/banding the EVF and screen around LED lights and there's no auto flicker handling, that it is too easy to activate the touch screen and Q button (horrible Q button location), and the XE3 won't charge and record via micro USB (so I have a dummy battery). None of these are show stoppers. Enjoyed your thoughts on the XE3.

I don't understand about that lightroom - you can use that profiles only when you have fuji camera? How is it possible? Where do you get that profiles from?
